Before you even think about reaching out to banks and credit unions to inquire about getting a HELOC, it's crucial that you have someone run your numbers to make sure that a HELOC makes sense for you or not.
The last thing you want to do is replace your mortgage with a HELOC only to have made a very costly mistake.
We get together with dozens of families per day to run their numbers absolutely free and with no commitment. In fact, we got the permission of the homeowners below to record the call so that you can listen in to get an idea of what to expect when you book your free call.
It's math...not magic. There are no smoke and mirrors. Let us prove it by crunching your own numbers for you at no charge.
1
CHECK YOUR CREDIT SCORE
We require every client to have at least a 680 credit score or above. The reason why is we would hate for you to get excited about replacing your mortgage with a HELOC but you can't qualify for a loan. Our clients pay us for the education. While we do not guarantee our clients will get approved for a HELOC since we are not the bank, we also don't want to take on a client that has no chance of getting approved either.
2
CHECK YOUR BUDGET
Check and make sure you have more money coming in than going out each month. The only way to pay down principal is to pay down principal. And that requires you to be cash flow positive.
So, let’s make sure you have mastered your monthly budget first.
3
WATCH OUR VIDEO SERIES WITH YOUR SPOUSE
We want you AND your spouse to have a basic understanding of what we teach on HELOC's before the call. Watching the below videos is required.
If you have not watched the videos by the time of your call, you will be asked to reschedule until you can take the time to watch them.
We do this because we want you to get the most value possible from your free discovery call.
